Use
The IDM1 and IDM8 plastic case circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) are one of the new types of circuit breakers developed by the factory using international leading design and manufacturing technology. According to the high and low rated limit short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu), they are divided into four types: C type (basic type), L type (standard type), M type (higher breaking type), and H type (high breaking type). The product is small in size, high in breaking, and short in arcing (some specifications have zero matrices). They are ideal for use on land and ships because they are vibration resistant. The rated insulation voltage is 660 volts (500 volts for IDM1/IDM8-63) and is suitable for infrequent switching and infrequent starting of motors in circuits with AC 50Hz and 660V or less. The circuit breaker has overload, short-circuit and voltage protection functions to protect line power equipment from damage.
The circuit breaker can be installed vertically or horizontally.
Working environment and installation conditions
1. The altitude is not more than 2000m or below.
2. The surrounding air temperature is +40°C (+45°C for marine products) and not less than -5°C.
3. Resistant to humid air.
4. Resistant to salt spray and oil spray.
5. Resistant to the effects of mold and mildew.
6、Maximum slope of 22.5°.
7、It can work reliably when subjected to normal vibration of the ship.

(4) There are two types of appurtenances: with and without appurtenances.
There are four types of internal devices, namely, shunt detriggers, ⽋ voltage detriggers, auxiliary contacts, and alarm contacts, and four types of external devices, such as manual operation mechanism and electric operation mechanism.
Warning for use.
1. The rotating handle operating mechanism used in the product is provided by the factory to ensure quality. If the users purchase the product by themselves, please purchase a reliable quality factory, otherwise the factory will not be responsible for all the consequences after installation.
2. After the product and the decoupling device have tripped, the electric and manual operating mechanisms must be made to close the gate only after the handle has been re-clasped (the direction of the handle re-clasp and the direction of disconnection).。

Technical data of accessory devices
1、The ratings of the auxiliary contacts and alarm contacts are shown in Table 3
2、When the working voltage of the shunt release is between 70% and 110% of the rated power supply voltage, it can reliably break the circuit breaker.
3. When the power supply voltage drops to within 70%~35% of the rated operating voltage of the voltage release device, the voltage release device can reliably break the circuit breaker; when the power supply voltage is lower than 35V of the rated operating voltage of the voltage release device, the voltage release device can prevent the circuit breaker from closing; when the power supply voltage is higher than 35V of the rated operating voltage of the voltage release device, the voltage release device can prevent the circuit breaker from closing. When the power supply voltage is higher than 85% of the rated working voltage of the voltage release device, the voltage release device can ensure reliable closure of the circuit breaker.

5. The various characteristics and accessories of the circuit breaker are set by the manufacturer and cannot be adjusted at will during use.
6.When the handle is in the unbuttoned position, the handle should be pulled downward to make the circuit breaker buckle again and then close the circuit breaker.
Release type and accessory code
Electric control circuit breaker closing or breaking its action value
(a) The circuit breaker should be able to ensure reliable closure between no-load and rated short-circuit turning capability at any voltage between 85-110% of the given control supply voltage when the circuit breaker is operated electrically.
(b) The shunt release can work reliably at any voltage between 70-110% of the rated control supply voltage.
c) The under-voltage striker and the striker shall operate within the rated working voltage of 70-35%.
Structural features and working principle
This series of circuit breaker has the characteristics of small size, high short circuit breaking capacity, small flying arc distance and anti-vibration. When the overload current or short-circuit current reaches or exceeds its specified value, the circuit breaker will automatically trip, thus cutting off the power supply and protecting the equipment on the load side.
