Scope of application
◆IDM1E and IDM8E plastic case electronic circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) are suitable for infrequent switching and infrequent starting of motors in circuits with AC 50Hz (or 60Hz), rated insulation voltage of 800V, rated working voltage of 690V and below, and rated working current to 800A. The circuit breaker has overload long-delay inverse time limit, short-delay short-delay inverse time limit, short-delay short-delay fixed time limit, short-circuit instantaneous and undervoltage protection, residual current protection (optional), and phase-loss protection (optional), which can protect the line and power supply equipment from damage, and the circuit breaker has ⻬ complete and precise protection characteristics, which can improve the reliability of power supply and avoid unnecessary power outages. The "Z" type control is equipped with a communication outlet and can carry out "four remote controls" to meet the requirements of the control center and the automation system.

◆The intelligent controller is the core component of the molded case circuit breaker, which is applied to motor protection or distribution protection, realizing measurement, protection, control and communication functions in one, so that the line and power supply equipment are protected from overload, short circuit, grounding and other fault hazards.
◆Adopt MCU microprocessor control, stable and reliable performance: the intelligent controller can self-power, as long as a phase is energized, when the current is not less than 20% of its rated value, it can ensure the normal operation of the protection function.
◆Selective cooperation with three-stage protection: the circuit breaker using category B and other short-circuit protection devices connected in the same circuit have selective cooperation under short-circuit conditions; the overload long-delay anti-time-limit, short-circuit delay (anti-time-limit, fixed time-limit), short-circuit instantaneous and other protection function parameters are adjusted.

Communication interface and external module application and networking of intelligent circuit breaker
◆ IDM1E and IDM8E communication intelligent molded case circuit breakers are equipped with communication connectors according to MODBUS communication protocol. When IDM1E and IDM8E communicable intelligent molded case circuit breakers are not used for group communication and are used separately, the holding programmer can set the protection characteristics of the circuit breaker through communication connection. When IDM1E and IDM8E communication intelligent molded case circuit breakers are used for group communication, they can be directly connected to the corresponding field bus; For the field buses with different protocols, the protocol conversion module can be selected, and the MODBUS protocol can be connected to the corresponding field bus after conversion.

The agreed heating current of the alarm contact is 3A, and the rated operating current is 0.3A when the rated operating voltage is AC 400V.

When the circuit breaker is normally closed, the contact does not act, only after the self by the release (or fault tripping), the contact ⽅ change the original state, i.e., normally open to close, normally closed to open, after the circuit breaker again, the contact to restore the original position.
◆Divided excitation decoupler
Generally installed in phase A of the circuit breaker, when the rated control power supply voltage is between 70% and 110%, the shunt excitation decoupler should make the circuit breaker reliably decouple under all operating conditions.

At 35% to 70% of the rated control supply voltage, the undervoltage detriggers should operate reliably and disconnect the circuit breakers. At 35% of the rated voltage, the circuit breaker should be reliably prevented from closing. When the supply voltage is equal to or greater than 85% of the rated voltage, the circuit breaker should be ensured to close.

It is easy to carry and can be used for power department or power user control and management with Chinese and English operating interface.

Use and Maintenance
◆The various characteristics and accessories of the circuit breaker are fixed by the manufacturer and should not be adjusted arbitrarily in use.
◆When the handle is in the self-release position, the handle should be triggered in the disconnecting direction, and then the circuit breaker will be re-buttoned before it can be closed.
◆If the product is damaged or cannot be used normally due to manufacturing quality problems during the warranty period, please contact the company for repair or replacement
